Version: 1Effective: July 15, 2026Applies to: Every promotion distributed through Promotion Circles

Promotion Circles is a host-controlled network. A screen owner must approve each promotion, each creative revision, the screens on which it may run, its schedule, and its share of screen time. Acceptance of this policy is recorded by version; a future policy version must be reviewed and accepted before partner content can be approved, resumed, delivered, or opened through its tracked QR link.

This policy is a practical operating baseline for the product. It is not legal advice and does not replace the sender's or screen owner's obligation to obtain appropriate legal, regulatory, industry, landlord, franchise, or professional review.

1. Prohibited content

Do not submit or approve content that:

2. Regulated and age-restricted content

The sender and screen owner must not assume that platform availability makes regulated content lawful. Before approving alcohol, tobacco or nicotine, cannabis, gambling, financial or investment services, credit, insurance, healthcare, medications, supplements, political or election-related messages, contests or sweepstakes, firearms, or other age-restricted or professionally regulated content, the screen owner must document that the content:

If those checks cannot be completed, the promotion must be rejected or paused. A host may prohibit any category even when it might otherwise be lawful.

3. Sender duties

The sending business must own or have permission to use all creative material, keep claims and offer terms accurate, provide a safe HTTPS destination where practical, identify material restrictions, and promptly withdraw content that becomes inaccurate, unlawful, expired, or unsafe. A creative or destination change creates a new revision and requires host approval again.

4. Screen-owner review duties

Before approval, and again before resuming a paused promotion, the screen owner must:

  1. inspect the complete creative, offer, coupon, and QR destination;
  2. confirm that the sender is a trusted connected business and not a blocked competitor or category;
  3. check the intended screens, local audience, schedule, expiration, and partner-content percentage;
  4. complete any regulated-content review described above;
  5. reject unclear, incomplete, expired, deceptive, or unsuitable content; and
  6. pause or remove a promotion immediately if a concern appears after approval.

Approval is specific to the reviewed campaign revision. It is not a standing endorsement of the sender or permission to publish future changes.

5. Network rules and enforcement

Partner content may never exceed 20% of screen time, and a host may set a lower limit. Promotions automatically stop at their approved end time. AboutNPromote may disable or remove content, links, placements, or accounts when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, security, or enforcement. Senders and hosts remain responsible for their own content and decisions.

Questions or suspected violations
